Mr. Aniruddha Lahiri: President of The Chatterjee Group and CEO of SkyTECH Solutions Mr. Lahiri earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT, Madras and began his distinguished career in 1968 with a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing company in India. He next joined Hindustan Lever, Ltd. (HLL), a subsidiary of Unilever, and served there in various divisions including, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, and later progressed to the HLL board of directors as Director of Agri-business. He was also Technical Director and Director of Human Resources and Corporate Affairs between 1992 and 1997. From HLL, he moved on to Unilever’s headquarters in 1998 as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Technologies with world-wide responsibilities, splitting his time between the corporate headquarters in Netherlands and the UK. He simultaneously headed the Safety, Health and Environmental Action Committee of Unilever as its Chairman. In 2001 Mr. Lahiri accepted the position of Managing Director at ABP Pvt. Ltd., a leading media publication company in India where he served until 2005, and he served on the board of the Media Content and Communication Services, a joint venture of the ABP and STAR Groups, constituted during his regime. In 2006, Mr. Lahiri joined as the President of The Chatterjee Group (TCG) and CEO of SkyTECH. Mr. Lahiri is the past President of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Calcutta Management Association. He is the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Region and is presently the Vice President of the National Executive Board, AMCHAM India. He is also the immediate past-Chairman of the Board of Practical Training as nominee of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
With over 16 years of leadership experience in the finance domain, Mr. Garg is the Chief Financial Officer for SkyTECH Solutions having responsibility for Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance, Risk Management and Compliance, Taxation, Treasury and Deal Structuring. Prior to his current role at SkyTECH Solutions, he served as the Business Finance Head for WS&T division in Wipro Limited, India Treasury Head for IBM India and General Manager, Finance at Balrampur Chini Mills Mr. Garg is an Honors Graduate in Commerce from St. Xaviers' College, Kolkata and as Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He also holds a diploma in Business Finance from ICFAI.
Ms. Chhanda Roy: Vice President, Operations As the Vice President of Operations at SkyTECH, Ms. Roy leads all of the operations and strategy functions. An electrical engineer with a Master's in computer science, Ms. Roy began her career as an engineer with the Universal Electric Corporation. She made a career shift to IT in 1983 by joining Datamatics. More positions with various companies followed — notable among them was her association with a number of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) projects. Ms. Roy’s vast experience includes providing IT solutions for various industry segments, development of Business Processes, Strategic Business Units and New Business, along with Account Management, and Quality Management System Implementation. She joined The Chatterjee Group (TCG) in 1996 and has been associated with SkyTECH since its inception, playing a key role in its development. Ms. Roy is a member of The Institution of Engineers - India (IEI), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and The Aeronautical Society of India (ASI).
Mr. Harris was educated at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and began his career in the airline industry in 1981. He worked in diverse areas for several airlines including Laker Airways, American Airlines, American Airlines (Sabre), and Delta Air Lines, where he spent over 12 years in marketing as a Manager and Supervisor, working in various management positions in New York, Atlanta and Denver. He then went on to Cargo, Inc. in Atlanta where he was Regional Director for the Southeast Region. In 1999 Mr. Harris accepted a position at Manugistics/Talus Solutions in Atlanta as a Senior Business Consultant. In 2002 he worked for SkyTECH, where he was responsible for selling off-shore engineering to the airline industry. Following his first tenure at SkyTECH, he was chosen to be Director of Business Development for Stratus Technologies, based in Maynard, MA, where he worked for more than eight years. In February 2012, he accepted the position of Senior Director of Sales and marketing at SkyTECH. Mr. Arpan Majumder: Head - Sales and Marketing, APAC & EMEA Mr. Majumder brings in rich experience and understanding of varied aspects of the sales and marketing business functions to SkyTECH. After earning his Bachelor in Engineering (B.E.) degree from the University of Pune, he completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from IISWBM, Kolkata. Mr. Majumder started his professional career as a software development professional and graduated into business functions thus bringing together complementary expertise to align business with technology. Mr. Majumder worked with reputed firms across geographies including India, UK and USA and across domains during his tenures at National Stock Exchange, IT (NSE.IT), Oracle India Pvt. Ltd., Sonata Software and RS Software prior to joining SkyTECH. Mr. Majumder is responsible for strategy & business development in APAC and EMEA regions. With over a decade’s experience in the Information Technology industry and knowledge of best practices in the outsourcing community, he has contributed in various capacities in sales, account management, marketing, analyst relations and alliance management areas. His forte is building the right business relationships and nurturing them to deliver more value to customers, while ensuring the growth of his organization.
Mr. Ashis Ray: Head – Technology & Solutions Upon earning his Master’s Degree in Computer Application from M M M Engineering College, Mr. Ray continued his studies in a Management Development program from IIM, Bangalore. Following graduation, Mr. Ray started his carrier at M N Dastur, and then went on to HCL Group Company and Cognizant Technology Solutions. Overall, Ashis has more than 21 years of experience in managing and implementing large IT projects in South-East Asia, Europe and the US. His vast experience includes Technology Consulting, building Technology CoEs, providing Business Solution to Customer, growing New Accounts, New Business Development, managing profit centers / verticals while driving quality initiatives – SEI-CMM, Six-Sigma, ISO 9000. Mr. Ray joined SkyTECH in May of 2010 where he directs SkyTECH’s technology vision and alignment of technical competence with the emerging trends and futuristic technologies relevant to our customers and the industry. Mr. Ray is also responsible for SkyTECH’s product development initiatives, Business Development activities and related eco-systems that foster SkyTECH’s technology leadership.
Mr. Apurba Das Datta: Head - Quality Assurance Mr. Das Datta holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Calcutta University, Kolkata and a Master of Technology degree in Atmospheric Science and Technology from IIT Kharagpur. He is also certified by CISA in project management, is a Six Sigma Green Belt and a member of The Project Management Institute (PMI) and ISACA. Mr. Das Datta has more than 17 years industry experience in Information technology with expertise in project planning, execution and management of IT based projects in India, US & UK. Initially he has worked as a software developer and software project manager, and later as a trainer, facilitator and appraiser for software process improvement. His earlier engagements had been with R S Software; IIS Infotech, Ltd (now Xansa); and Mastech Systems Corporation, UK. Mr. Das Datta joined SkyTECH Solutions in May of 2000 and heads up the Quality and Testing functions. He is responsible for developing and implementing the department’s strategy, to ensure it meets the business requirements and customer deliverables, as well as ensuring the departmental performance against goals.
Mr. Rehan Firdausi: Head - Delivery Mr. Firdausi is responsible for ensuring delivery excellence at SkyTECH. He has over 20 years of experience in Client Relationship Management, Dual-shore Engagement Management, People Management, Process Management, and Program and Delivery Management. He has been involved in providing end-to-end services, starting from pre-sales support to execution and has successfully managed large projects on various technical platforms in several functional domains such as, airlines, airports, insurance, banking and retail. Mr. Firdausi has managed and delivered businesses under SEI CMMi L5, PCMM L5, ISO 9000:2000 and ISO 27001 certified environments. In the past, he has also been associated with NIIT Technologies, Syntel India Ltd and RS Software. Mr. Firdausi holds a Masters in Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Mr. Sanjib Kumar Mukherjee: Head - Human Resources Mr. Mukherjee is responsible for the development and implementation of SkyTECH’s people strategy. An alumnus of Visva Bharati, Shantiniketan and XISS, Ranchi, Mr. Mukherjee has over 21 years of experience in the field of human resource development across a number of renowned companies. An astute professional, before joining SkyTECH, Mr Mukherjee has headed the HR function of various companies like, Srei BNP Paribas (a joint venture between BNP France and the Srei Group), mjunction services limited (a joint venture between TATA Steel and the Steel Authority of India Ltd.) and RS Software (India) Ltd. He was also part of the HR team at Paharpur Cooling Towers Pvt. Ltd. and The Indian Express. His forte includes Performance Management, Competency Development, Compensation Management, Assessment Centers and Career Development. |
