SkyTECH has a dedicated group of mathematical and statistical experts - the Data Analysis and Decision Support (DADS) Team, which adds significant value to airlines by working on core airline functions including scheduling, reservations, revenue management and supply chain management. The main focus of the DADS Team is on providing top-of-the-market OR and Statistical expertise with a high degree of process compliance at a competitive price.

The Team is a blend of youth and experience with doctorates and post-graduates recruited from elite institutions like the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) guided by experienced domain resources having both business and technical expertise.

Pertaining to the Operations Research wing, the DADS Team has worked with large airlines in designing solutions using models like aircraft fleeting, aircraft routing, crew planning and crew scheduling. Besides designing solutions, we have developed prototypes for solving related optimization problems – Routing & Crew Pairing Generators, for instance.

On the Statistics plane, we have extensive experience in Profitability Forecasting. We have good knowledge of Statistical model building and applied various statistical techniques in forecasting demand, manpower and engine life.
